Most years I try to do something to raise money for a great cause (some of you may still have the calendar hanging on a wall somewhere from my efforts for 2010…) but last year I didn’t and so this year I felt I needed to do something a bit more. Jumping out of planes has been done (not by me…) and I really wanted something that would challenge me- emotionally, mentally and a little bit physically but I’m not silly enough to do a marathon or climb Kilimanjaro.
