Christmastime. It is a season and celebration which invokes many emotions and memories and comes laden with tradition and ritual.  As I began the unpacking of shiny baubles and unraveling of sparkling lights this year, I began to think about what this all looks like to my daughter, aged nearly 3.  What is she making of the activities? Of the gift buying, the card writing and the treat baking?  What is the meaning of Christmas that I can share with her, that makes sense to the way I would like her to live her life, to treat others and to view the world.

...Recipes I couldn't do without.

Being a busy mum to a contrary toddler and working part-time, there are certain times when I need to know that come dinner time there is something I can pull together quickly and easily, with some level of vegetable included as a bonus!  It also helps if these dishes are healthy but the main criteria is that my toddler will eat it with no fuss.
