Two things happened today that I just have to share...
Firstly, I changed the sign in the car from 'Baby on Board' to 'Toddler on Board'. I felt that at turning 2 years old last week, meant we were certainly out of babyhood and into the toddler years.
Secondly, I did a 'wee wee dance'. I have been reading about this in all the mother and baby books and thinking: a dance? really? you do a dance when they do a wee wee in the potty? Hmmm, not for me, thank you. I'll stick to an exuberant 'yippee' or 'yay K' but a dance?
And then tonight, after a few weeks of putting K on the potty before getting in the bath, with no outcome, K said a wee wee was coning and it did! And before I could even think about it- I did a dance. I was jigging about the bathroom and singing and she thought it hilarious. Whether it is an indicator of future wee wee's in the potty, I'm yet to find out. But what I do know is that there are never any absolutes in motherhood and that it surprises and delights me every day.
Tell me your mummy moments- do you do a wee wee dance? what milestones have you recently reached?
