The new networking group, Networking Women, launching on April 27th has kindly asked Aspiring Change to be guest speaker! Here's what they've got to say about Networking Women...
Lisa Cherry and Sue Carlisle would like to invite you to a totally new Networking group that has been designed by women for women (to coin a phrase). We have joined forces after working successfully together on a number of other projects over the last couple of years, including Business Support, Advertising, Marketing and Holistic Health. The meeting will take place on the last Tuesday of the month launching on Tuesday 27th Apil 2010 at 9.30am.
This unique approach to networking has come about as a direct result of our own experiences of attending groups across Oxfordshire and listening to what you have said about what you need out of Networking.
Firstly, it’s a brunch! You can take the children to school and still get to the meeting without the nightmare of organising childcare.
Secondly, there is no membership! You will book to attend the Brunch and pay £20 on the day for the meetings you attend only. That is your only committment. So when you have other things going on in your life, or meetings appear that need to be attended, you won’t feel like you’re wasting membership fees.
Thirdly, we needed a venue that offered on site parking in a relaxing atmosphere in a space that is totally for our use only. So we chose Witney Lakes Resort.
And finally, because we don’t have membership, our speakers are from a variety of backgrounds and geograpical areas so you will never feel as though you are listening to someone for the third time!
There will be a variety of women at the meeting ranging from new business owners right through to those who are long established. We even have requests from women who are not self employed but may be looking at this as a possibility in the future. We actively want to encourage women who, for whatever reason, have felt unable to use Business Networking previously. Absolutely everyone will be made to feel welcome and our unique approach will provide an opportuntity for you to learn something new that is relevant to you in your working life.
