Taking place within the tranquil setting of the Cotswold Coaching Retreat, Aspiring Change’s Workshops for Mums bring together the best of coaching training and personal experience. Aimed at providing mums with an opportunity to develop personally and professionally, the workshops cover a range of topics but focus issues relating to women and mothers, to help with self-development and overall well-being.
Mums, do you:
- lack confidence?
- wish you knew what you were doing with your life?
- want something different for yourself?
- need help?
These workshops give you the time and space to explore common issues associated with being a woman, a mother, a wife, friend, daughter, colleague....
You will also gain a wealth of information, some new tools to help you out and a great support network along the way! These workshops are designed to tackle the issues that have you despairing in the quiet moments or perhaps have you sobbing uncontrollably after a few glasses of wine with a good friend.
I know how that feels. I've been there. I've worked hard, had a few wobbles, ups and downs and now it's not so bad. In fact, it's pretty darn good and I'd like you to feel like that about your life too.
Want to know my story?
My story starts from a moment of motherhood that brought me to my knees, literally, and the glimpse I got of my spiraling descent towards crashing esteem, low self-confidence, household chaos and dis-organisation, resentment towards my husband and daughter and total negativity towards my life situation.
Just like YOU, my story has chapters titled:
'Guilt- You've got bucket loads of it and it's running your life'
'Perfectionism + Paralysis- no matter how hard you try, what you do will never be good enough, so don't do anything at all'
'Your Voice- you have one but no-one is interested in what you have to say'
'You, Who?- your mission in life is to make everyone else happy'
That is part of how I came to be providing these workshops for mums. I know what it is like to feel at the bottom of the heap and it is part of my mission to help you feel better about yourself; to help you feel like 'you' rather than just 'mummy' or 'Mrs'.
My journey has also involved a lot of self-development and self-awareness, and my training to become a life coach. My journey has been one of personal insight, fear, awareness, despair, but always the highs that come with creating a life that fills me with happiness and contentment.
The Mums Workshops offer you the opportunity to:
- get rid of past habits
- overcome destructive thoughts and behaviours
- gain new insights
and personal awareness
- develop new ways of thinking, new strategies and new habits
- gain clarity in a supportive and motivating environment. Small numbers on all events ensure a near one-to-one experience.
The Mums Workshops are not like other corporate or professional workshops. They are designed for mums! The workshops are:
- practical
- realistic
- useful
Using the best of coaching training and professional development, along with a large dose of personal experience and on-going learning, the Aspiring Change Mums Workshops are unique and worthwhile if you are looking for something different for yourself and and something better for your life.
Taster sessions
The taster sessions are an opportunity to have a total overview of the workshops and the workshop programme, and is your introduction to Aspiring Change Mum's Workshops coaching process.
The taster sessions are dated throughout the year, in line with school terms and cost £25. Read more about them here and sign up for them here
Workshops
A bit like speed dating, the workshop format allows you the opportunity to explore a big picture, in an intense and very focused way.
The initial first session is 3 hours with 2x 2hour follow ups over the following 2 months. Covering any aspect of personal development is a process and a journey. It takes x number of years to get to a certain point- creating something different will not happen over night.
That is why the workshops have been put together this way, with some concentrated sessions over a relatively short amount of time. This allows you to see the change happening and have continued support for times when you need it.
When you sign up for any of the Mums Workshops, you commit to the initial 3 hour workshop for £45 and then 2 follow up sessions of 2 hours for the following 2 months (£30 each).
